Project
voila is an application for Microsoft HoloLens, aimed at restaurant waiting staff. Guests can order in a companion app, and floating info cards over each table will tell waiters what to do next.
Background
This was developed as a full business plan for Accenture DACH‘s „campus innovation challenge“ (where it scored second place in the finals). Part of the pitch were economics and market analysis, but also a live demo using a tablet and HoloLens app. Both of these were developed in unity, and fully functional.
Involvement
Development took place in a team of four, with me doing design and UX work, one team member working on implementation, and everyone doing interviews with waiters and contributing texts, layouts and numbers to the pitch itself.
